Meet the People

Lisa Willett has been teaching traditional yoga & meditation in Sonoma Valley and leading international retreats for almost 20 years. She studies and teaches Raja Yoga and was initiated into the Himalayan Yoga Tradition by the late Swami Veda Bharati of Rishikesh, India. Her primary teachers are Mehrad Nazari and Michele Hebert, Master teachers of the Walt Baptiste Method of Raja Yoga who reside in Portugal.

Ray Willett is an architect turned sound explorer, walking a path that bridges design, healing, and resonance.
After decades of shaping physical spaces with ecological and social sensitivity, Ray now devotes his craft to shaping inner landscapes through sound.

His sound therapy journey has been guided by both rigorous training and lived experience. At the Globe Sound Healing Institute, Ray is deepening his understanding of vibroacoustic therapy, frequency protocols, and the science of coherence. His studies with the HeartMath Institute weave in the physiology of heart‑brain harmony, offering a grounded framework for cultivating coherent states. These threads build on his earlier immersion at the Monroe Institute, where he first encountered the transformative potential of binaural beats and expanded states of consciousness.

Glen Ellen Gathering Space is honored to welcome JALEH (Lauren Bjelde) as its inaugural Artist-in-Residence. Widely known as the magnetic lead singer of Royal Jelly Jive, Jaleh brings a deeply multidimensional artistic practice to GEGS — one that moves fluidly between music, sound healing, shamanic work, intuitive teaching, and visual art.

Classes at Glen Ellen Gathering are special. Soaring ceilings, large windows looking out on oak woodlands and luxurious props provide a sweet environment to relax. Classes are attuned to the season, and offerings reflect what nature offers.
