Meet the People

Lisa Willett has been teaching traditional yoga & meditation in Sonoma Valley and leading international retreats for almost 20 years. She studies and teaches Raja Yoga and was initiated into the Himalayan Yoga Tradition by the late Swami Veda Bharati of Rishikesh, India. Her primary teachers are Mehrad Nazari and Michele Hebert, Master teachers of the Walt Baptiste Method of Raja Yoga who reside in Portugal.

GEGS is delighted to share our space with talented teachers and leaders from across the Bay Area. Alessandra Cusick has been practicing and leading traditional Mysore Ashtanga yoga for almost 30 years. Her love and dedication to the practice is inspiring, and she brings a wealth of knowledge gleaned from her decades of study with the most recognized names in the tradition.

Kate Coletti has been "catching babies" as a licensed midwife and doula since 2007. She is beloved member of the Sonoma Valley community as a pre and post natal yoga teacher, an expert in women's reproductive health, and as the founder and leader of Enlightened Birth programs for expectant parents.

Classes at Glen Ellen Gathering are special. Soaring ceilings, large windows looking out on oak woodlands and luxurious props provide a sweet environment to relax. Classes are attuned to the season, and offerings reflect what nature offers.
